Wood River

Fished the wood on saturday 5/29 with my good friend John. We both managed to hook a few nice trout on various offerings. The trout were looking up today! Fishing was good until the kayak hatch became prolific around 10:30. See you on the water!!

Farmington River

Got out to the Farmington River on the afternoon of 5/3 . Hendrickson's were hatching when we arrived. Looked like it was going to be a nice day, but as fishing goes, the hatch died off shortly after we started fishing. We managed to hook a few fish though. Waiting for a spinner fall to happen around 6-6:30 proved to be a wasted effort. All in all it was a nice day.

Wood River 4/24

Fished the Wood on monday afternoon from 3:30 until 7pm. Trout were rising to Black Quills that were hatching sporadically. Took a few fish on a soft hackle.

Spring Trout Fishing at Carolina

I got out to fish at Carolina trout pond on Friday afternoon April 21st. Fishing was very good on nymphs. The state put in some very large rainbows here. I was amazed at their size. Get out and fish!!
